Khalifa Kush by Boring Glory

Today I'm doing a review of Oregon's rendition of Khalifa Kush which is grown locally by Boring Glory 🕵️ For those that don't know, Khalifa Kush is a proprietary cultivar created for/by the well known rapper Wiz Khalifa. In addition to exclusive genetics and premium packaging, Khalifa Kush has a unique retail experience that I'd like to talk about before getting into the review.

I went to Kaleafa in Oregon City to pick up the KK and was surprised to find that the jars were not prepackaged. My budtender weighed the 8th out in front of me and packaged it into the branded Khalifa Kush jar. I was also given a branded Khalifa Kush bag to carry the product home in. It was a pleasant experience and it was nice to take the flower home in a glass jar instead of a plastic pop top. Now onto the review 🕵️

This Khalifa Kush grown by Boring Glory had a strong peppery citrus kush aroma when I opened the jar. The buds were dense with good give, frosty, and tightly trimmed. When I broke up the nugs I got a very strong classic citrus kush nose 🍋

The flavor was strong pepper gas and citrus with notes of pine in my vape ⛽🍋🌲 I found it to be nice and robust with good complexity 😋 The vapor was thick while still being smooth and lasted an average amount of time 👍🏼

The high was uplifting and clearheaded with a pleasant headband effect and some good relaxation for my body. The effects were strong and two bowls in my vaporizer had me good and medicated ☺️

Overall I enjoyed this Khalifa Kush grown in Oregon by Boring Glory. The aroma and flavor were good, the vapor was smooth and thick, and the effects were potent. I also just generally like the packaging and retail experience, although the branded bag might be a bit over the top 😅 Have you tried Khalifa Kush? Grape Pie Fresh Presh by Decibel Farms

This Decibel Farms Grape Pie (Cherry Pie x Grape Stomper) 90u fresh press hash rosin had a grape candy aroma that reminded me of the grape syrup used to make snow cones 🍇🍭 Quite unique and complex with notes of earthy funk coming through as well.

The fresh press came neatly presented as a viscous coin and was pretty easy to work with. The nose was pretty subtle straight out of the fridge but once it warmed up, and especially with a good stir, the smell came out nicely. The rosin changed from a semi-translucent coin to a shiny budder as it matured and took on a smooth texture and strong smell.

The flavor translated very well with strong grape candy dominating the profile. I found the funky earth notes were more pronounced in the dab and it was quite smooth 👌🏼 I really enjoyed the profile on this Grape Pie and the taste was more robust than the nose 😋

The effects were strong and stoney giving me a slightly stupefying head change and sedating full body relaxation 🤗 I found the Grape Pie to be quite helpful for unwinding and getting ready for bed 😴

Overall I really enjoyed this Grape Pie hash rosin from Decibel Farms. The aroma was unique and complex, the flavor was fresh and robust, and the medicinal properties were potent 👍🏼

Trop Cookies Hash Rosin by B.A. Botanicals

B.A. Botanicals proprietor and head grower is a legacy operator who got his start selling joints in Central Park back in the early 2000s. Growing since 2009, when he popped 20 seeds of Bubba Kush in his dorm room in Washington DC, he has steadily increased his knowledge and scale over the years. From 8 lights in a garage in California and working for a prop 215 medical delivery service, to a 12 lighter and then 24 before moving to Oregon to self-start B.A. Botanicals in 2016 and have his first rec harvest in 2018. They now do controlled environment light dep using Green Gro dry amendments, recycled living soil, and well water.

This B.A. Botanicals Trop Cookies (GSC x Tangie) hash rosin had great appearance and texture. The badder was nice and wet, well presented, and easy to work with 👍🏼 The aroma was classic Trop 🍊🍪 Sweet orange citrus with notes of spice. The orange smell was quite pungent and the profile was both unique and complex.

The flavor translated very well, and the spice notes combined with the citrus gave it a gas like bite on the exhale. The sweet orange taste was very clean and I found this batch of Trop to be exceptionally smooth with great flavor even on the reheat 👌🏼

The effects were strong and uplifting, giving me a notable head change with considerable mood elevation while also providing me with some solid full body relief 🤗 The Trop worked great as daytime meds for me and didn't cause any issues with my anxiety.

Overall I really enjoyed this Trop Cookies hash rosin from B.A. Botanicals. The aroma and flavor were excellent and the effects were just right for me for daytime use 🙌🏼 This Trop checks all the boxes for me and the price point makes it extra special. If you haven't tried this hash rosin I highly recommend it 💯

Espresso Bean-Albino Louisiana Chocolate Bar by Grincredible

Today I have the pleasure of bringing you all a review of a unique psilocybin product 🍄

This Grincredible Espresso Bean-Albino Louisiana chocolate bar is made from Lillie Belle organic fair trade chocolate and Cafe Mam organic fair trade espresso beans and contains an extract made from Albino Louisiana fruits cultivated by Psilocyence Mycology 🤯

I took one square of chocolate, the equivalent of about 0.2g of Albino Louisianas, for my microdose. This is a bit more than my standard microdose but since the chocolate bar is scored into 10 squares I decided it was easiest just to take one square as my dose and see how it would effect me for the review 🕵️

As far as the chocolate bar itself, the dark chocolate and espresso beans make an excellent flavor combination and I didn't notice any mushroom taste whatsoever 👌🏼 Both the chocolate and the espresso beans were absolutely delicious 😋

The effects of the microdose were just right for me and provided a nice body buzz and mild euphoria without being too disorienting. The effects came on quickly and lasted for a few hours. After the buzz wore off I was left feeling relieved of anxiety and with an elevated mood. The after effects lasted until my next dose, which was great 😁

I tested taking a dose both on an empty stomach and after a light meal and I preferred taking it with food. Given that the dose I took is a bit more than my standard microdose, this makes sense. I found the effects to be less intense while still providing all the medicinal value I needed.

Overall I had an excellent experience with this Grincredible chocolate bar 👍🏼 Everything about it feels craft and high quality, the medicinal effects were perfect for me and the chocolate bar itself was fantastic 🙌🏼 From the recyclable packaging and the hand written ingredients list to the high quality organic local ingredients infused with single source psilocybin extract, you can really feel the love and attention to detail that went into making this craft product.
