Strawberries and Cream by Trichome Farms

This Trichome Farms Strawberries and Cream (Strawberry Jelly (Mimosa 4) x Cookies and Cream) had a strong fruity aroma that did actually remind me of strawberries quite a bit 🍓😋 The profile was both unique and complex but the fruit was so strong that I couldn't really pull out the other notes from smell alone. The buds themselves were dense and totally frosted in trichomes 🤩

The flavor was strong fruit 🍓🍓 with some soft creamy notes coming through in the vapor 😋 The Strawberries and Cream was very smooth to vape, especially considering the above average thickness of the vapor 👍🏼

The effects were strong, stoney and full body 🤗 I got a pleasant headband effect after two bowls in my vape and was starting to sweat a bit after three 😅 I found the high to be very relaxing and enjoyable and great meds for me in general 😊

Overall I loved this Strawberries and Cream 🍓🥛🔥🔥🔥 The aroma and flavor were excellent, the vapor was smooth and thick, and the effects were just what I'm looking for 🤗 Another winner from Trichome Farms in my book 💯🙌🏼

White Gummiez by Mainstream Marijuana

This White Gummiez (Peach Rings x Jet fuel Gelato x White Runtz) bred by Compound Genetics and grown by Mainstream Marijuana had some pretty fantastic bag appeal 🙌🏼 It came packaged in a bag with some beautiful artwork on it and an easy to open press seal. The aroma when I opened the bag was excellent 🔊🔊 Super loud sweet creamy fruity candy funk 🍦🍑🍬⛽ The profile reminded me a lot of Gelato and Runtz but with a little uniqueness to it 😋 On top of the amazing nose, the nugs themselves were beautiful 😍 Dense dark green and purple buds that were totally frosted in trichomes ✨ The only thing I can critique about the bag appeal is that most of the buds were pretty small.

As for the flavor, unfortunately it wasn't as strong in my vape as the aroma and it didn't translate the entire profile. The flavor that came through was good though, sweet Gelato notes mostly, and the vapor was pretty smooth with just a bit of harshness to report. The flavor didn't last that long though and the vapor was average thickness.

When it came to the effects, I found them to be decently strong and enjoyable but lacking in potency just a bit. I got a nice stoney head change, uplifting euphoria, and light body relaxation. Two bowls in my vape didn't quite have me where I wanted to be but I was feeling pretty good after three bowls.

Overall while I enjoyed the White Gummiez from Mainstream Marijuana, it was a bit underwhelming that the bag appeal wasn't matched by the flavor and effects. The aroma was super loud and the flavor just didn't live up to it in my vape. The effects were good but just not potent enough to stop me from wanting a dab afterwards.

Cereal Milk by Trichome Farms

This Cereal Milk (Y Life x Snowman) grown by Trichome Farms had a loud sweet creamy cookies gas aroma 🔊 The buds were big, dense, and totally frosted in trichomes. Breaking up the buds brought out a very robust smell that I really enjoyed 😋 Fantastic jar appeal all around 🙌🏼

The flavor was strong in my vape and translated perfectly from the aroma, sweet creamy cookies gas 🍦🍪⛽ The vapor was thick and super smooth with long lasting flavor that just kept going 💪🏼

The effects were strong and stoney in my head with solid full body relaxation as well 🤗 Two bowls in I was starting to feel a powerful headband effect and heavy relaxation ☺️ Halfway through my third bowl I started sweating 🥵 This flower packed a serious punch 👊🏼

Overall I loved this Cereal Milk from Trichome Farms 🔥🔥🔥 It easily checked all the boxes for me ✅✅✅ Loud complex aroma, matching flavor with smooth, thick, long lasting, vapor and effects that had me feeling like I just took a fat dab 🙌🏼 Trichome Farms has been absolutely killing it lately and this Cereal Milk was no exception. I highly recommend checking out this cultivar 💯

Layer Cake by Louis VuChron

This Layer Cake (Wedding Cake x GMO) grown by Louis VuChron had a nice sweet cake and earthy spice aroma 🎂🌱 I can't really describe the nose as loud or strong but it wasn't light either. The buds were large, dense, and totally covered in large trichomes 🤩 Breaking up the nugs brought out a strong sweet cake aroma and left my fingers nice and sticky.

The flavor translated well with strong earth and nice sweet cake and spice notes 😋 The vapor was quite thick with just a bit of harshness to it. The flavor lasted an average amount of time but the vapor just kept on going.

The effects were strong, giving me a nice stoney head change with noticeable pressure behind the eyes and solid relaxation throughout my body 🤗 I found the high to also be uplifting/mood elevating and it didn't couch lock me which was great for daytime use.

Overall I enjoyed the Layer Cake from Louis VuChron 😋 The aroma was nice and the flavor translated well with thick vapor. The effects were nice and strong and worked well for me for daytime meds 👍🏼

Mitten Cake Batter by Louis VuChron

Louis VuChron is a locally owned and operated recreational cannabis farm in Portland, Oregon. Respect, positivity and good vibes are the foundation of what they do. That good energy resonates within the crew and is clearly translated to the final product.

This Mitten Cake Batter (Kush Mints x Wedding Cake x Kush Mints bx) grown by Louis VuChron had some pretty insane jar appeal 🤩 Big dense buds that were completely coated in trichomes ✨ The trim job was also worth noting, as the nug structure, pistils, and trichomes we're completely unharmed in the process 👌🏼 The nose on the flower was also quite strong, giving off a heavy sweet cake dessert aroma with notes of skunk and wood 🎂🍦🦨🪵 Breaking up the buds brought out a very robust sweet dessert smell and left my fingers quite sticky.

The flavor translated well in my vaporizer with strong sweet cake dominating the profile and sharp pine notes hitting me up front followed by skunky woody notes 😋 I enjoyed the complexity and it was more unique than your typical cake profile. The vapor was quite smooth considering how thick it was 💨💨 Both the flavor and the vapor lasted longer than average.

Effects were strong and stoney in my head, a bit stupefying, and also provided some nice relaxation for my body. The headband effect was pretty intense from two bowls in my vape and I was sweating a bit after three 🥵

Overall I really enjoyed this Mitten Cake Batter from Louis VuChron 🔥🔥🔥 It easily checked all the boxes for me ✅ The jar appeal was excellent, the flavor was robust, complex and pretty unique for a cake variety, and the effects were nice and strong 🙌🏼

Deep Fried Ice Cream by Lovena Green Farms

This Deep Fried Ice Cream (Ice Cream Cake x Deep Breath) grown by Lovena Green Farms had a sweet creamy cake nose with notes of wood and earth 🎂🌱🪵 The smell was softer than I prefer but I enjoyed the complexity of the profile. The buds were very dense, tightly trimmed, and totally frosted.

The flavor translated well in my vape 😋 Soft creamy cake with woody earth notes. The vapor was smooth, thick, and long lasting 👍🏼

Effects were strong and stoney in my head with great mood elevation and solid full body relaxation as well. I found myself feeling pretty good after two bowls in my vaporizer 🤗

Overall I enjoyed this Deep Fried Ice Cream from Lovena Green Farms. While the aroma was a bit light, the profile was complex and the flavor was nice and enjoyable in my vape. The effects were solid meds for me too 👍🏼

Runtz by Lovena Green Farms

I first discovered Lovena Green Farms back in 2015/2016 during the early sales period and I really enjoyed their flower 😋 I can specifically remember their Hippie Crippler and Pineapple Express and it was great to reconnect with them and see what they have been up to lately. Lovena has moved to a new indoor facility with LED lighting in Newberg and they have been dialing in their growing methods in the new environment. I got the opportunity to tour the grow and check out a few of their new cultivars 🕵️ Today I'll be sharing a review of one of my favorites from the varieties that I tried.

This Runtz (Gelato 33 x Zkittlez) grown by Lovena Green Farms had a loud sweet candy nose with some pine notes and extra funk to it 🔊 The buds were dark green, dense with good give, frosty, and tightly trim.

The flavor translated well and was strong candy funk with initial notes of pine in my vape 🍬🧀🌲 The vapor was thick and reasonably smooth with just some minor harshness as I vaped through the bowl.

The effects were strong giving me a solid head change that spread down my neck to heavy relaxation in my shoulders 🤗 The high was a bit stupefying with some euphoria and solid full body relief 👍🏼

Overall I really enjoyed the Runtz from Lovena Green Farms 😋 The aroma was loud with matching flavor and the effects were nice and potent 👍🏼

Pineapple Passion SmoothieZ by JD Grown

This Pineapple Passion SmoothieZ (Pineapple Passion x Zkittlez) grown by JD Grown had a loud sweet candy and fruity pineapple nose that was pretty unique and complex 🍬🍍🍑 The bud was totally covered in trichomes and looked beautiful with it's long orange pistils still in tact. Breaking up the nug brought out a very potent smell and left my fingers pretty sticky.

The flavor was strong and translated well from the aroma with sweet exotic pineapple dominating the profile 😋 The vapor was smooth with medium thickness and the flavor/vapor lasted a longer than average amount of time 👍🏼

The effects were uplifting and clearheaded with a light headband effect and some nice body relaxation as well. I wouldn't call the effects strong but I wouldn't call them average or weak either. Above average feels fair and I found the high to be perfect for staying focused during the day time.

Overall I really enjoyed this Pineapple Passion SmoothieZ and it was definitely one of the winners from the varieties I got to check out from JD Grown. The aroma was robust, complex and unique with matching flavor. The vapor was smooth and the effects were nice and enjoyable 😊 Definitely keep a look out for this one in the future 😋

CheetoZ 5 by JD Grown

JD Grown was founded by a legacy operator who has been involved in the Oregon cannabis industry since before I started consuming the plant. In fact, he was one of the first people to introduce me to high quality cannabis back in 2004 and has always been known for having some of the best flower around. In addition to the farm, he established the Natural Remedies dispensary in SW Portland and has recently expanded to a second location on the east side.

I had the pleasure of checking out several different phenos of a couple of cultivars from JD Grown's recent pheno hunt and my favorite of the bunch was this CheetoZ 5 (Cheetah Piss x Runtz) 🔥🔥🔥 It had a loud sweet fruity sour citrus aroma with notes of gas 🍑🥭🍒🍋⛽ The profile was quite unique and had some great complexity too it. The bud had excellent jar appeal with the looks matching the nose 🤩 The nug was very dense and covered in shiny trichomes ✨ Breaking up the flower brought out an even more potent smell that I really enjoyed and also left my fingers quite sticky.

The flavor was strong earthy citrus gas with notes of fruit in my vape and produced thick clouds while still being nice and smooth. The flavor was robust and lasted an average amount of time 👍🏼

The Effects were strong and uplifting giving me an intense headband effect and some solid body relief too. I found the CheetoZ 5 to be very potent and two bowls had me feeling as good as a dab 🤗 Three bowls had me sweating a bit 🥵😅

Overall I really enjoyed this CheetoZ 5 and I would go as far as to say I loved it 🔥🔥🔥 The jar appeal was on point, the vapor was smooth, tasty, and thick, and the effects were fantastic. This is definitely the keeper pheno and my favorite of the new varieties I checked out from JD Grown 👌🏼

Khalifa Kush by Boring Glory

Today I'm doing a review of Oregon's rendition of Khalifa Kush which is grown locally by Boring Glory 🕵️ For those that don't know, Khalifa Kush is a proprietary cultivar created for/by the well known rapper Wiz Khalifa. In addition to exclusive genetics and premium packaging, Khalifa Kush has a unique retail experience that I'd like to talk about before getting into the review.

I went to Kaleafa in Oregon City to pick up the KK and was surprised to find that the jars were not prepackaged. My budtender weighed the 8th out in front of me and packaged it into the branded Khalifa Kush jar. I was also given a branded Khalifa Kush bag to carry the product home in. It was a pleasant experience and it was nice to take the flower home in a glass jar instead of a plastic pop top. Now onto the review 🕵️

This Khalifa Kush grown by Boring Glory had a strong peppery citrus kush aroma when I opened the jar. The buds were dense with good give, frosty, and tightly trimmed. When I broke up the nugs I got a very strong classic citrus kush nose 🍋

The flavor was strong pepper gas and citrus with notes of pine in my vape ⛽🍋🌲 I found it to be nice and robust with good complexity 😋 The vapor was thick while still being smooth and lasted an average amount of time 👍🏼

The high was uplifting and clearheaded with a pleasant headband effect and some good relaxation for my body. The effects were strong and two bowls in my vaporizer had me good and medicated ☺️

Overall I enjoyed this Khalifa Kush grown in Oregon by Boring Glory. The aroma and flavor were good, the vapor was smooth and thick, and the effects were potent. I also just generally like the packaging and retail experience, although the branded bag might be a bit over the top 😅 Have you tried Khalifa Kush? Widow Cake by Trichome Farms

This Trichome Farms Widow Cake (Black Widow x Wedding Cake) had a light gassy citrus smell with sharp peppery notes when I popped the jar open. The buds were dense, totally frosty, and tightly trimmed. Even though this flower had some great bag appeal, I found the nose to be lacking. When I cracked or ground up the nugs, I did find a nice funk hiding inside though.

The flavor in my vape was strong peppery pine up front with some sweet citrus gas 🌲🎂🍋⛽ The Widow Cake was smooth to vape and produced thick vapor.

The high was stimulating and uplifting, leaving me clearheaded while also providing me some good body relief. I found the effects to be pretty nice for daytime smoke. It did mess with my anxiety just a bit though.

Overall I kinda had mixed feelings about the Widow Cake. The nose was lacking for me and the flavor wasn't really my personal preference. At the same time, the effects were nice for daytime use without messing with my anxiety too much and the vapor was smooth and thick.

Gelato 41 by Trichome Farms

This Trichome Farms Gelato 41 (Sunset Sherbet x Thin Mint GSC) had a loud sweet creamy gassy profile with sharp pine notes that really hit me in the nose 🔊🔊🔊 The nugs were a beautiful purple color with dark orange hairs and were totally frosted 🤩 The buds were dense, well trimmed, and nicely cured. Serious bag appeal on this flower in both looks and smell 👌🏼

The flavor was very strong in my vape 😋 Heavy gassy pine up front with some sweet creamy notes that were just delicious ⛽🌲🍦 The Gelato 41 produced thick long lasting vapor and was very smooth.

The high was strong and stoney in my head and also gave me some really solid body relief. The effects were quite potent and I didn't find myself needing a dab after vaping a couple bowls 🤗

Overall I really enjoyed this Gelato 41 from Trichome Farms 😋 The sweet gassy pine Gelato profile was super loud, the buds were beautiful, and it vaped great with solid effects. Checked all the boxes for me 🔥🔥🔥

This Eastwood Gardens Dawgwalker x Horchata has a loud earthy gas smell with notes of spiced cream 🌱🌲⛽🥛 I love these profiles and this one is extra special 😋 The nugs are frosty and dense with good give 👍🏼

This Banana Puddintain (Banana OG x (GMOx TK Skunk)) grown by Ananda Farms has a strong garlic GMO smell with notes of earthy fruit 🧄🧄🌱🍌 It has dense frosted buds 👍🏼

It has a strong garlic gas funk flavor in my vape with some earthy fruity sweetness 😋 High was nice and full body for me. I really enjoyed this one 🔥🔥🔥 Another winner from Ananda in my book 👌🏼

Green Crack by Equinox Gardens

This Green Crack from Equinox Gardens has a sour citrus lime smell. It's definitely Green Crack but the profile isn't quite what I'm used to. The nugs are dense and tightly trimmed with dark red hairs still intact.

The flavor in my vape wasn't that great to be honest. It wasn't bad but it was kind of generic and lacking in flavor. Also a bit harsh. Vapor was thick and lasted an average amount of time. Overall I wasn't really impressed with this Green Crack.

Garlic Bread by Ananda Farms

This Garlic Bread (GMO x French Toast) grown by Ananda Farms has a very unique smell to it 😋. It's not quite garlic like GMO, but it definitely has a bread type smell to it 🤯 The nugs are beautiful 🤩 Totally frosty, nice green color and dark brown hairs perfectly intact 👍🏼 Cracking the nugs really brings out the sweet bread smell.

The Garlic Bread tastes pretty crazy in my vape 🤤 So sweet yet savory and doughy 🍞 The vapor is super thick and the flavor is strong yet mellow. I really enjoyed the flavor on the Garlic Bread 😋 The high was a little light for me. Kinda stoney in my head with some light body relief.

This Wedding Cake (Animal Mints x Triangle Kush) grown by B.A. Botanicals has a sweet piney citrus cake profile 🌲🍋🎂 The nose is good when you open the jar, but when you crack the buds it's super loud inside 🔊 Buds are nice and dense with nice light colored hairs intact.

The flavor was strong sweet citrus cake up front with notes of pine 😋 The vapor was thick with long lasting flavor 👌🏼 High was nice and stoney, giving me a solid head change as well as strong full body relaxation.

This Ice Cream Cake (Wedding Cake x Gelato) grown by JD Grown has insane bag appeal 🤩🤩 Dense and completely frosted purple bud that would draw the eye of any cannabis consumer 🔥🔥🔥 The nose on this flower is also amazing 😋 Strong sweet creamy gas 🍦⛽ Breaking into the buds leaves my fingers sticky and stinky and the smell is so loud inside 🔊

The flavor was very strong when vaping this Ice Cream Cake 🤤 Sweet creamy gassy cake with earthy notes 🍦⛽🎂🌱 The vapor was quite thick and lasted a long time. The high was nice and stoney in my head with that full body relief I look for as well 👍🏼 This was some potent flower 🔥

Melon Mints by Ananda Farms

This Melon Mints (Animal Mints x French Toast) grown by Ananda Farms has a super unique cheesy melon smell 🤯 It's super funky with some earthy citrus notes 😋 I love when I find a new profile that I really enjoy and this one is perfect for me 🕺 The nugs are semi dense with good give and totally frosted 🤩 Great bag appeal to go with the nose 👌🏼 The buds also have a beautiful color to them that I'm not sure really shows through in my pictures.

The earthy notes really come out when vaping the melon mints 😋 It's like a funky fruity earth. Most people who know me know I'm a sucker for quality funky earth profiles and this one is quickly making it's way to the top of my favorites list 🔥🔥🔥 The vapor is thick and long lasting, and was flavorful all the way till the end 👌🏼 The high is stoney and full body for me, excellent meds 🤗
