This B.A. Botanicals Papaya live hash rosin had a loud tropical fruit aroma with pine and sweet floral notes 🍑🥭🌲🌸 The aroma was intoxicating and I was pretty excited to give the badder a try 🕵️

The flavor was strong and matched the aroma, fruity floral and piney 😋 The profile was robust, complex, and unique, which I found very enjoyable. The Papaya was reasonably smooth to dab with just some minor harshness to note, that lingered in my nose for a bit after dabbing.

The effects were very potent, giving me an instant stoney head change that was slightly stupefying 🤯 I got a solid headband feeling with pressure behind my eyes, followed by strong full body relaxation 🤗

Overall I thoroughly enjoyed this Papaya live rosin, despite the minor harshness. The aroma and flavor were on point and the effects were exceptionally potent and medicinal. Have you tried the Papaya from B.A. Botanicals? Which variety was your favorite from this drop?

Trop Cookies Live Hash Rosin by B.A. Botanicals

This B.A. Botanicals Trop Cookies (GSC x Tangie) live hash rosin had a strong classic sweet orange Trop aroma 🍊🍊 The smell was quite robust and had some nice complexity to it with notes of spiced cookie dough coming through 🍪 The appearance and texture were superb and I was very excited to try out this year's Trop from B.A. 😋

The flavor was strong sweet orange cookies 🍊🍪😋 Excellent translation from the aroma and quite robust and complex. The Trop was incredibly smooth to dab with no harshness to note 🙌🏼

The effects were potent, giving me a strong stoney head change and uplifting mood enhancing effects 😊 I also got some really nice full body relaxation and found the high to be excellent for me during the daytime.

Overall I loved this Trop Cookies from B.A. Botanicals 🍊🍪🔥 The aroma and flavor were remarkable, it was especially smooth to dab 💨 and the effects were potent and perfect for daytime use 🌞 The quality to price ratio is pretty amazing on this hash rosin. I already grabbed another gram myself before I finished writing this review and I definitely have to recommend checking the Trop out if you haven't already 💯

Z Live Hash Rosin By B.A. Botanicals

This B.A. Botanicals Z ((Grape Ape x Grapefruit) x Unknown) live hash rosin had a strong fruity lemon-lime candy aroma 🍑🍋🍬 Classic Zkittlez profile that reminded me of the candy with a similar name 😋 The appearance and texture of the badder were excellent and I found the Z to be quite appealing in the jar.

The flavor was strong fruity lemon-lime candy just like the aroma and I found the Z to be exceptionally smooth to dab 💨 The profile was unique and complex and I enjoyed it quite a bit all around.

I found the high to be a bit of a "creeper", starting slowly with a stoney head change and headband feeling, followed by solid full body relaxation 🤗 The high became quite euphoric as it reached it peak 😊

Overall I utterly enjoyed this Z from B.A. Botanicals 🍋🍬🔥 The aroma and flavor were great and the effects were potent and medicinal. This B.A. Botanicals Honey Bananas (Honey Boo x Strawberry Banana) live hash rosin had a loud sweet honey banana aroma that was reminiscent of honey banana flavored bubblegum 🍯🍌🍬 The nose was incredibly strong when I opened the Pop-Vac jar and the appearance was excellent 🙌🏼 The badder had great texture and was very easy to work with.

The flavor was strong sweet honey with notes of banana and bubblegum 😋 Great translation from the aroma as well as being robust, unique and complex. The Honey Bananas was quite smooth to dab and didn't leave any harshness in my throat or nose 👍🏼

The effects were stoney and potent, giving me an instant head change 🤯 The high was pretty stupefying and euphoric with some light relaxation for my body as well.

Overall I thoroughly enjoyed this Honey Bananas from B.A. Botanicals 🍯🍌 The aroma and flavor were superb and the effects were quite strong 💪🏼 I also have to mention that I rather like the new jars and labels ✨ Have you tried the Honey Bananas or anything else from the latest B.A. drop yet?

Trop Cookies Hash Rosin by B.A. Botanicals

B.A. Botanicals proprietor and head grower is a legacy operator who got his start selling joints in Central Park back in the early 2000s. Growing since 2009, when he popped 20 seeds of Bubba Kush in his dorm room in Washington DC, he has steadily increased his knowledge and scale over the years. From 8 lights in a garage in California and working for a prop 215 medical delivery service, to a 12 lighter and then 24 before moving to Oregon to self-start B.A. Botanicals in 2016 and have his first rec harvest in 2018. They now do controlled environment light dep using Green Gro dry amendments, recycled living soil, and well water.

This B.A. Botanicals Trop Cookies (GSC x Tangie) hash rosin had great appearance and texture. The badder was nice and wet, well presented, and easy to work with 👍🏼 The aroma was classic Trop 🍊🍪 Sweet orange citrus with notes of spice. The orange smell was quite pungent and the profile was both unique and complex.

The flavor translated very well, and the spice notes combined with the citrus gave it a gas like bite on the exhale. The sweet orange taste was very clean and I found this batch of Trop to be exceptionally smooth with great flavor even on the reheat 👌🏼

The effects were strong and uplifting, giving me a notable head change with considerable mood elevation while also providing me with some solid full body relief 🤗 The Trop worked great as daytime meds for me and didn't cause any issues with my anxiety.

Overall I really enjoyed this Trop Cookies hash rosin from B.A. Botanicals. The aroma and flavor were excellent and the effects were just right for me for daytime use 🙌🏼 This Trop checks all the boxes for me and the price point makes it extra special. If you haven't tried this hash rosin I highly recommend it 💯

Hash Rosin Decarb Tutorial

Today I'm doing a tutorial on how to use hash rosin purchased from your local dispensary to make your own solventless edibles or cannacaps at home. Before you can use rosin to make edibles or cannacaps, you need to put it through the decarb (decarboxylation) process. This can be done by applying heat for extended periods of time using a flat top or conventional oven. In this tutorial I'll be walking you through the steps I use to decarb rosin at home and infuse it into liquid coconut oil. You can use this method to infuse your favorite homemade treats or make solventless cannacaps.

For this tutorial you are going to need 1 gram of hash rosin (I used a gram of B.A. Botanicals Chem 91 hash rosin that was obtained from Archive PDX and contained 664mg of THC.), at least 2 ml of liquid coconut oil (instructions for determining the amount needed are below), an oven safe glass dish, a dab tool/whisk/fork to stir, and a flat top or oven.

Ok, let's get to it. First, preheat your flat top or oven to 225°f. I prefer a flat top because it allows me to watch the concentrate as it's decarbing and easily stir when needed. While your heat source is preheating, scoop your gram of hash rosin into the oven safe glass dish. Once the preheat is complete, put the glass dish with rosin on the flat top/in the oven and heat for about 45 minutes, stirring occasionally. The rosin should completely stop producing bubbles by the end. Once the rosin is decarbed, mix in your liquid coconut oil and stir until thoroughly homogenized. That's it! Your infused oil is now ready to use in your favorite recipe or to be put into capsules 😊

How to calculate THC/per serving:
Since you know the total amount of THC in the hash rosin, simply divide the total THC going into the recipe by the servings in the recipe to determine mg/serving. If the dose is higher or lower than desired, adjust your recipe or the amount of rosin you use until you reach your desired outcome.

Determining how much liquid coconut oil to use:
In order determine how much liquid coconut oil you will need, first decide what you will be doing with your infused oil. For infusing your favorite recipes, simply use the amount of oil the recipe calls for (Infused oil can substitute for butter in many recipes). Gelato 41 Hash Rosin by B.A. Botanicals

This B.A. Botanicals Gelato 41 (Sunset Sherbet x Thin Mint GSC) hash rosin had a soft, yet pleasant, sweet creamy nose with just a hint of pine to it. The badder was nice and wet with light blond color and great texture.

The flavor was strong sweet creamy gas funk 🍦⛽ with notes of minty pine 🌲 The taste was considerably stronger than I was expecting based on the smell 👍🏼 The rosin was pretty smooth to dab with just some slight nose tingle and minor irritation left in my throat.

The effects were very strong and stoney, giving me a nice headband effect that spread throughout the rest of my body 🤗 Relaxing, a bit stupefying, and a really enjoyable high altogether.

Overall I really enjoyed this Gelato 41 hash rosin 😋 The nose definitely could have been stronger, but the flavor was solid and the effects were very stoney and full body.

Chem 91 Live Rosin by B.A. Botanicals

This Chem 91 (91 Chemdog) live hash rosin from B.A. Botanicals had a strong sweet gassy nose with a very potent cheesy funk to it that I really enjoyed ⛽🧀 The rosin had a light color to it and the texture was amazing on this wet badder 💦

The flavor was strong gassy funk with some nice sweetness to it 😋 The Chem 91 dabbed pretty smooth with just some minor harshness and gave me quite a bit of that nose tingle I often find in gassy profiles.

The high was very stoney in my head giving me that almost stupefying feeling along with a headband effect which spread to my cheeks and throughout my body giving me intense full body relaxation and couch lock. I tend to be pretty functional when using cannabis, so when people tell me "don't try this stuff before you have something to do" I usually just laugh and say "ok sure". This stuff was potent even for me though 🤯 On one occasion it had me sitting in a comfy bean bag chair instead of cooking dinner 😅 and when I did get up, I was so distracted I had to refill my boiling pot of water twice 😂😂

Overall, I was very impressed with the first live rosin drop from B.A. Botanicals 👍🏼 The gassy funky profile paired with the mind numbing effects were very nice. Chemdawg strains can be totally hit or miss for me and this one was a hit for sure 🎯

This Wedding Cake (Animal Mints x Triangle Kush) grown by B.A. Botanicals has a sweet piney citrus cake profile 🌲🍋🎂 The nose is good when you open the jar, but when you crack the buds it's super loud inside 🔊 Buds are nice and dense with nice light colored hairs intact.

This Forbidden Fruit (Cherry Pie x Tangie) grown by B.A. Botanicals has a loud classic forbidden fruit smell 😋 Fermented fruity orange gas 🍑🍊⛽ The smell is intoxicating and I find my self going back to smell it again and again 😅 The nugs have nice density to them with good give 👍🏼 Buds have that sort of standard, not so pretty, Forbidden Fruit structure with purple spots and dark hairs all over.

The flavor in my vape was amazing 🤤 Mouth watering fruity gas 🍑🍊⛽🔥 The vapor was smooth and thick with long lasting flavor 😋 The high was very relaxing 🤗 Nice effects for my body with an uplifting head buzz that had me wanting to get out and enjoy the sunshine 🌞

B.A. Botanicals Gelato 41

This Gelato 41 (Sunset Sherbet x Thin Mint GSC) grown by BA Botanicals has some pretty crazy bag appeal 🤩 Super frosted dense buds with light orange hairs. Breaking up the buds leaves my fingers super sticky 👍🏼 The nose is pretty light on this one until you really break it up. Inside it's got a strong, sweet kinda minty creamy earthy gas, smell. 

The flavor is a nice sweet earthy cake and stronger than I thought it would be based on the smell 😋 I think this is one of those situations where the vape really brings out the flavor hiding in there and it won't be as great of a flavor experience if you combust. The high is very strong for me on this Gelato 41 🤗 Stoney and full body. Definitely some potent flower.

B.A. Botanicals Gorilla Glue 4

This Gorilla Glue 4 ((Sour Dubb x Chem Sister) x Chocolate Diesel) grown by B.A. Botanicals has a nice strong earthy chocolate gas smell that is unmistakably Gorilla Glue 🦍🍫 The buds have a beautiful dark green color to them with totally frosted insides 🤩 It's super sticky when I break up the buds and the smell inside is really nice 😋 The trim job isn't super tight but it has that more craft trim that leaves all the brown hairs intact and I think it makes the buds look very nice 👌🏼

The flavor in my vape was very strong earthy gas with chocolate notes 🌱⛽🍫 Definitely mouth watering 🤤 The vapor also lasted a long time 👍🏼 The high was quite uplifting yet stoney for me with some solid body relief as well. Great daytime smoke 🔥🔥🔥

I really enjoyed this Gorilla Glue 😋 It's a strain I'm pretty familiar with so it's always nice to try it from different growers. Have your had Gorilla Glue before? 🕵️
