Grape Pie Live Rosin by Nelson & Co. Organics

 

This Nelson and Co. Organics Grape Pie (Cherry Pie x Grape Stomper) single source live rosin had a strong grape candy aroma with notes of doughy funk 🍇🍬🥧 The appearance and presentation of the cold cured batter was excellent 🙌🏼 Beautiful yellow color with just the right amount of wetness 💦 The texture was also great and very easy to work with.

The flavor was strong grape candy with notes of funky dough coming through on the exhale 😋 The badder was smooth to dab with just some very minor harshness to note 💨

The effects were potent, stoney, and relaxing 😊 I noticed some pressure in my forehead and in my cheeks just after my dab, followed by potent full body relaxation 🤗 The Grape Pie was perfect for unwinding during the evening.

Gelato 33 Live Hash Rosin by Nelson and Co. Organics

This Nelson & Co. Gelato #33 (Sunset Sherbet x Thin Mint GSC) single source live hash rosin had a loud piney creamy gas aroma 🌲🍦⛽ The smell was intoxicating and had me excited to take a dab 😋 The rosin was prepared as a cold cured badder that was nice and wet 💦 The badder was smooth and very easy to work with.

The flavor of the Gelato #33 was strong and translated well from the aroma 😋 Sharp pine up front with a creamy gas on the back end 🌲🌲🍦⛽ I found the rosin to be exceptionally smooth to dab while still providing a full bodied vapor 💨

The effects were potent and medicinal 😊 giving me an instant head rush followed by strong full body relaxation 🤗 The Gelato 33 had me sweating after just one regular size dab 🥵 and I found it to be perfect for winding down before bedtime 😴 Dabbing this rosin first thing in the morning had me wanting to go back to sleep 😅😴

Overall I loved this Gelato #33 hash rosin from Nelson & Co. Organics 🙌🏼 The aroma was robust and complex with matching flavor and the dab was incredibly smooth with potent medicinal effects 🤗

Chem De La Chem Hash Rosin Pod by Nelson and Co. Organics

This Nelson and Co. Chem De La Chem (ChemD x i95) hash rosin pod came in all-in-one hardware with a half gram of rosin ready to be consumed. The form factor was incredibly convenient for taking with me anywhere I went and I didn't have to worry about remembering multiple items when leaving the house.

The flavor was strong coffee and chem that was reminiscent of the Chem De La Chem water hash and rosin I know and love 🤤 There was some light "cooked" taste to note and some minor harshness. I expected the cooked taste to get worse over time, but it actually became less noticeable as I made my way through the oil.

The flavor did start to degrade a bit about 3/4ths of the way through and I started getting some minor clogging on occasion. I made it to the end of the rosin without any major clogging issues or too much flavor degradation, but I can definitely see why half gram pods have been popular for rosin.

As far as the hits, I got excellent vapor production from the pod 💨💨 Nice fat clouds that were actually a comparable replacement for a dab. The effects were potent 🙌🏼 Uplifting, yet stoney and full body 😊 The Chem De La Chem pod was excellent for medicating on the go and I used it on several occasions in place of bringing my e-rig with me.

Overall I really enjoyed this Chem De La Chem rosin pod for what it was. Would I rather dab the water hash or rosin? Yes, of course. But the ability to take a full sized hit of high quality rosin on the go with an all-in-one device that easily fits into any pocket or bag is really nice. I would be very interested to try this rosin side by side in a few different pod systems, because I'm fairly certain all of my criticism can be attributed to the hardware and not the oil itself. Regardless, I would definitely grab one of these to take on a day trip to the beach or a hike ⛱️⛰️💨 Have you tried any of Nelson and Co.'s hash rosin pods? What was your experience 🕵️

This Chem91 (91 Chemdog) fresh press live rosin from Nelson and Co. had a pleasant funky chem aroma ⛽ The nose was strong for fresh press and only got stronger as the rosin matured. What started as a stable light yellow coin, quickly transformed into a wet badder and then to an almost white wet crumble like texture.

The flavor was incredibly robust 🤤 Sweet funky chem ⛽⛽ I found the Chem91 to be remarkably smooth to dab while still being very full bodied. Excellent flavor that was unique and satisfying 😋

The effects were very potent 🤯 I got an intense stoney head change, followed by pressure behind the eyes that flowed to my shoulders and then throughout my body providing excellent full body relief 🤗 I found the high to be quite stimulating with amazing medicinal effects 😊

Overall I loved this Chem91 fresh press from Nelson and Co. 🥰 The aroma was great for fresh press rosin and only got stronger as it matured. The flavor was fantastic 😋 and the effects were very potent and medicinal 🤗 Have you tried the latest fresh press drop from Nelson and Company? 🕵️

Carefree Chocolate by Nelson & Co. Organics

This Nelson and Co. Organics Carefree Chocolate is made from Fairtrade chocolate and infused with hash rosin from their farm. The package doesn't say vegan on it but it's dairy free and I don't see any ingredients listed that don't fit my diet. In fact the ingredients list is pretty short and the artificial flavoring is the only thing that I would take even the slightest exception with. The outer packaging feels premium and is recyclable, which I like, with a plastic wrapped chocolate bar on the inside.

The chocolate bar itself looks like a pretty standard chocolate bar that is scored into 10 pieces. The pieces are imprinted with the words "Nelson" and "Carefree" which alternate from piece to piece. Each piece of chocolate is the current standard of ~5mg THC with the entire package containing ~50mg (49.65mg for this batch).

When I opened the plastic wrap I was immediately greeted with a strong dark chocolate smell 😋 Even though I don't eat it as often these days, I really enjoy quality dark chocolate and when I smelled the bar I was ready to go to town on it 😅

The flavor of the chocolate was delicious 😋 As good as any premium chocolate bar I might get from the store. There was a slight cannabis flavor to it but not that unpleasant cannabis flavor you find in some edibles. This was a nice hash flavor that while not distinct, was very good. I'm pretty confident that even those who hate the taste of cannabis in their edibles would enjoy this chocolate bar.

After eating the entire bar 😅 I followed it up with one of my cannacaps, like I usually do for my edible reviews when the dosage is lower than 100mg. As far as the high, I definitely felt some noticeable effects beyond what my normal cannacap dose would provide. It was nice and stoney with solid body relief and a good amount of stimulation from the chocolate. While it ultimately didn't get me to where I would want to be if I was looking to take a recreational dose of edibles, it was quite a bit more medicinal than a lot of the other 50mg edibles I've tried in the past and I enjoyed the effects.

Overall, I was pretty impressed with this new Carefree Edible from Nelson and Co. While it's generally not a product for me (like all current rec market edibles) due to the restrictive dosage laws, I found it to be a high quality product with a premium feel to it. The chocolate was delicious and the high was nice considering the low dosage.

GMO Live Hash Rosin by Nelson & Co.

This Nelson and Co. GMO (GSC x Chemdawg) live hash rosin had a strong sweet garlic gas GMO smell when I opened the jar 🤤 Very impressive smell coming off of this fresh press, even straight out of the fridge 👌🏼 The smell only continued to get louder as the rosin matured 🔊🔊 Such a great profile 🧄🧄🧄

The color was very nice on the fresh press coin, with some almost marbling going on. Something I want to note is how perfect the coin of fresh press looked in the jar. I almost felt bad digging into it to take a dab 😅 The hash rosin was very stable and somewhat difficult to work with in a normal fashion until it started to badder up. Once it did though, it was very easy to work with and portion.

The flavor was very strong garlic gas 🧄🧄⛽ with some really nice sweetness on the back end 😋 Amazing profile and a super smooth dab 👍🏼 A lot of the extracts/concentrates I've reviewed lately have been kinda harsh and dabbing this hash rosin was such a relief ☺️💨 One of the smoothest dabs I've had in a while.

The high was super strong and stoney for me. I felt an instant headrush after taking a dab that slowly moved throughout the rest of my body giving me very solid full body relaxation. Perfect meds for me 🤗

Overall I loved this GMO hash rosin and I honestly have nothing but good things to say about it 🔥🔥🔥 The smell taste and effects were all on point and it was so smooth to dab 👌🏼 Watching the fresh press mature as I made my way through the gram was extra pleasant with this GMO, and gave me a sense of appreciation for fresh press that I hadn't had before. I don't know what else to say except that I could dab this stuff all day and night 💯

Nelson & Co. Organics OG Sandwich Live Hash Rosin

This Nelson & Co. OG Sandwich (Kosher Kush/Stardawg/WiFi 3) fresh press #hashrosin is a mix of some of my favorite profiles and I really enjoy the smell coming off of this rosin 😋 While it's not loud, it's surprisingly strong considering it's not baddered. It has that earthy "dawg" smell to it that I really enjoy 🌎🐕 The rosin itself is stable and beautifully grammed out in a coin shape. It's very easy to work with and agitating it really brings out the smell.

The flavor of this mixed batch is definitely that earthy "dawg" kush that I'm always looking for 😁 It's strong and quite smooth to dab 👍🏼 The effects are very full body for me with an extra stoney head change 😊 Also noticed some good appetite stimulation from the OG Sandwich. Good name I guess 😅 Super solid meds for me 💯

After spending some time with the fresh press, which I really enjoyed, I decided to budder up the rest just to see how it would be 😋 A few stirs, a couple times in and out of the fridge, and boom 💥 In about 24 hours I had some loud 🔊🌎🐕 OG Sandwich budder 🤤 The flavor is super earthy OG 🔥🔥🔥 Love it 😋
