Fatso FSE Pod by Nogero

Nogero combines a liquefied gas extraction technology with the Maxx hardware from Maximum Scientific to bring a new pod based system to the Oregon rec market. Their FSE (Full Spectrum Extract) is single-origin and cultivar-specific and is available in both half gram and full gram pods that easily connect to the Maxx battery using magnets. The extract itself is 100% cannabis derived and consists of a terpene fraction, a cured resin fraction, and a decarboxylated fraction, all extracted from the same starting material.

This Nogero x The Heights Co. Fatso (GMO x Legend OG) FSE pod came as a single use 1 gram cartridge, for use with the Maxx battery. The flavor was strong earthy pepper gas 🌱🌶️⛽ The profile was quite heavy on the pepper but definitely felt like a true cured cannabis profile. The vapor production was excellent giving me reasonably smooth hits considering how thick the vapor was 💨💨 There was a bit of nose tingle/harshness to note on the exhale that lingered after vaping.

The effects were strong, stoney, and full body 🤗 I got a solid headband effect and found the high to be a bit stupefying if I took too many hits in a row. Great for medicating on the go and actually a legitimate replacement for a dab.

I found the one gram pod lasted a lot longer than I thought it would, especially considering the large hits I was able to take 💨💨 I did start to experience some occasional minor clogging about 1/3 of the way through the oil. I also started to notice some flavor degradation a little over halfway through the gram.

Overall I enjoyed this Fatso FSE pod from Nogero and The Heights Co. The flavor was strong and the effects were potent and medicinal 🤗 I was able to use the pod in place of an e-rig or portable vaporizer on several occasions with no issues 😊 Have you tried an FSE pod from Nogero? Chem De La Chem Hash Rosin Pod by Nelson and Co. Organics

This Nelson and Co. Chem De La Chem (ChemD x i95) hash rosin pod came in all-in-one hardware with a half gram of rosin ready to be consumed. The form factor was incredibly convenient for taking with me anywhere I went and I didn't have to worry about remembering multiple items when leaving the house.

The flavor was strong coffee and chem that was reminiscent of the Chem De La Chem water hash and rosin I know and love 🤤 There was some light "cooked" taste to note and some minor harshness. I expected the cooked taste to get worse over time, but it actually became less noticeable as I made my way through the oil.

The flavor did start to degrade a bit about 3/4ths of the way through and I started getting some minor clogging on occasion. I made it to the end of the rosin without any major clogging issues or too much flavor degradation, but I can definitely see why half gram pods have been popular for rosin.

As far as the hits, I got excellent vapor production from the pod 💨💨 Nice fat clouds that were actually a comparable replacement for a dab. The effects were potent 🙌🏼 Uplifting, yet stoney and full body 😊 The Chem De La Chem pod was excellent for medicating on the go and I used it on several occasions in place of bringing my e-rig with me.

Overall I really enjoyed this Chem De La Chem rosin pod for what it was. Would I rather dab the water hash or rosin? Yes, of course. But the ability to take a full sized hit of high quality rosin on the go with an all-in-one device that easily fits into any pocket or bag is really nice. I would be very interested to try this rosin side by side in a few different pod systems, because I'm fairly certain all of my criticism can be attributed to the hardware and not the oil itself. Regardless, I would definitely grab one of these to take on a day trip to the beach or a hike ⛱️⛰️💨 Have you tried any of Nelson and Co.'s hash rosin pods? What was your experience 🕵️

Purple Relief FECO2 by Farmer's Friend Extracts

This Farmer's Friend Extracts x Cannassentials Purple Relief (Granddaddy Purple Blend) FECO2 is a high THC edible extract with a good amount of minor cannabinoids in there too, including some THCV and CBGa.

I took about 0.2g in a capsule before bed on five separate occasions and each time I experienced similar effects. The high was very medicinal for my body 🤗 Solid effects that made my muscles very relaxed while keeping my mind pretty clear headed. I didn't get any of the more recreational effects I sometimes get with higher doses, like laughing at myself or a stoney feeling, but I did get some good mood elevation and relief of my IBS symptoms.

Overall I found this Purple Relief FECO2 blend to be excellent medicine for me 😊 The full body relief was really nice and I think it would make great daily meds in a microdose tincture or capsules. If you've tried this FECO2 blend be sure to let me know how it worked for you in the comments 🕵️

Larry Bird aka Gelato 33 by State 3

This Larry Bird aka Gelato 33 (Sunset Sherbet x Thin Mint GSC) by State 3 had a loud funky creamy aroma that was undoubtedly Gelato 🍦⛽🍦 I really enjoyed both the profile and how strong the nose was. The buds were also dense and frosty giving this flower some excellent jar appeal 🙌🏼

The flavor was strong funky cream with some pine notes up front 😋 Really robust favor that coated my mouth as I vaped it 🤤 This Larry Bird gave off incredibly thick, long lasting vapor and was very smooth 🙌🏼 The flavor also lasted all the way through the bowl, which was quite nice 👍🏼

The effects were strong, stoney, and very relaxing 😊 I got a solid head change and great full body relief 🤗 Halfway through my second bowl I was good to go and starting to sweat 🥵

Overall I loved this Larry Bird from State 3 🔥🔥🔥 The aroma and flavor were robust and complex, the vapor was smooth and thick, and the effects were potent 💯 I definitely recommend checking out this flower from State 3 if you can find it 🕵️

Green Crack CBG-Enriched RCO by Farmer's Friend Extracts

For my review of this Farmer's Friend Extracts x Frontier Farms Green Crack (Skunk 1 x Afghani) CBG-ENRICHED RCO dripper, I decided to skip directly to taking the product in capsules as oral medication. My previous experiences with dabbable CBG-ENRICHED products have shown me that it's not my preference and I personally recommend using these products in capsules or edible recipes and not for dabbing.

I started with a dose of about 0.1g in a capsule. This worked out to about 45.7mg of THC and 29.6mg of CBG. The effects were noticeable and uplifting while also providing some excellent relief for some IBS symptoms I was experiencing at the time. I tried the same dose on two other occasions and had similar results. I did find that the Green Crack RCO was more uplifting than I prefer for my meds and messed with my anxiety a bit. I actually expected this based on my previous experiences with this cultivar but I was curious how the added CBG would change the effects. I definitely noticed better symptom relief and less anxiety than I historically have gotten from Green Crack.

Overall while this Green Crack CBG-ENRICHED RCO wasn't my preference for meds, it did work well for my IBS symptoms. The CBG really helped to improve the medicinal effects of a cultivar that I would usually avoid when it comes to edibles. If you are looking for the effects of Green Crack with the added benefits of CBG, you should definitely check out this RCO from Farmer's Friend Extracts.

Chem91 Fresh Press Live Rosin by Nelson and Co. Organics

Nelson and Co. is a small indoor farm that is owned and operated by two growers with over 50 years of combined cultivation experience. This Chem91 (91 Chemdog) fresh press live rosin from Nelson and Co. had a pleasant funky chem aroma ⛽ The nose was strong for fresh press and only got stronger as the rosin matured. What started as a stable light yellow coin, quickly transformed into a wet badder and then to an almost white wet crumble like texture.

The flavor was incredibly robust 🤤 Sweet funky chem ⛽⛽ I found the Chem91 to be remarkably smooth to dab while still being very full bodied. Excellent flavor that was unique and satisfying 😋

The effects were very potent 🤯 I got an intense stoney head change, followed by pressure behind the eyes that flowed to my shoulders and then throughout my body providing excellent full body relief 🤗 I found the high to be quite stimulating with amazing medicinal effects 😊

Overall I loved this Chem91 fresh press from Nelson and Co. 🥰 The aroma was great for fresh press rosin and only got stronger as it matured. The flavor was fantastic 😋 and the effects were very potent and medicinal 🤗 Have you tried the latest fresh press drop from Nelson and Company? 🕵️

Acapulco Gold by State 3

This Acapulco Gold (Sativa Landrace) from State 3 had a strong piney citrus terpinolene aroma 🌲🍋 I instantly knew this was a landrace sativa from the terpinolene aroma and fluffy structure of the buds. The nugs were a medium shade of green and totally covered in long dark brown pistils.

The flavor was strong piney citrus terpinolene in my vape. The vapor was smooth and thick, but the flavor wasn't very long lasting and became pretty generic half way through the bowl.

The effects were very uplifting and clearheaded with excellent mood elevation and some nice relief for my body as well 😊 I found the high to be very medicinal while also leaving me focused and alert.

Overall while I don't personally seek out landrace sativas or terpinolene profiles, I enjoyed trying the Acapulco Gold from State 3. The aroma was strong and the effects were nice and medicinal without being too intoxicating. I was a bit disappointed with the flavor not lasting in my vape, but if you are looking for unique medicinal effects for daytime use I would say this flower is worth checking out 🕵️

1:1:1:1 Tincture by Farmer's Friend Extracts

This 1:1:1:1 Tincture from Farmer's Friend Extracts is a combination of coconut oil, cannabis extract, hemp extract, and artificially derived CBN and contains comparable amounts (~300mg-375mg) of THC, CBD, CBN, and CBG.

I took two droppers full for evening meds to help relax before bed. The flavor was ok, pretty generic. The effects worked very well for keeping my IBS symptoms under control 🤗 I also noticed some sleepy effects from the CBN which really helped me with winding down before bed 😴

I tried using the tincture during the day on a few occasions and it made me a bit sleepier than I prefer for daytime meds, but it was workable and did work well for managing my symptoms.

Overall this mixed cannabinoid tincture from Farmer's Friend Extracts was excellent medicine for me, especially during the evening 😊 The combination of cannabinoids provided great medicinal benefits and helped me calm my mind before bed 😴 Have you tried FFE's 1:1:1:1 tincture?

Runtz by State 3

This Runtz (Gelato 33 x Zkittlez) by State 3 had a loud funky fruity creamy aroma that I instantly knew as Runtz 😋 The buds were dark green and purple with light brown pistils. The flower was totally covered in trichomes, just like the other varieties I checked out from State 3 🤩

The flavor was quite strong in my vape 😋 Piney gas up front with a creamy fruit finish 🌲⛽🍦🍑 The Runtz was very smooth to vape with thick vapor and long lasting flavor 🙌🏼

The effects we're quite potent 🤯 I got a strong stoney head change half way through my first bowl and two bowls had me sweating 🥵 which usually takes at least three. The high was very relaxing with some great full body relief 🤗

Overall I really enjoyed this Runtz from State 3 😋 The aroma and flavor were very strong and the effects were definitely potent 😊 The smooth, thick, delicious vapor was the icing on the cake and I definitely have to recommend checking out some of this flower from State 3 💯

Mimosa CBG-Enriched FECO2 by Farmer's Friend Extracts

This Farmer's Friend Extracts x Kerby Kush Farms Mimosa (Clementine x Purple Punch) CBG-ENRICHED FECO2 contains about 540mg of THC and 315mg of CBG. I decided to start by trying my standard 0.2g dose in a capsule at night before bed. This probably wasn't the best idea 😅 as the effects were quite uplifting. They were also very medicinal and provided excellent relief for my IBS symptoms while also giving me great mood elevation. By the peak I had a wide smile on my face and was feeling quite good. I do want to note that I sort of felt overly medicated. Not in an intoxicated kind of way, but I just felt like it was a bit too much CBG.

I decided to try smaller doses with this FECO2 going forward. I took the recommended 0.05g dose for my next experience and I found it worked great for daytime meds. I got the same medicinal benefits without the over medicated feeling and the uplifting effects were much better suited for daytime use.

Overall I found this CBG-ENRICHED FECO2 to be excellent medicine for me 🤗 It worked really well for both keeping my mood up and controlling my IBS symptoms during the daytime 😊 Have you tried CBG-ENRICHED FECO2? If so, how did it work for you? 🕵️

Panama Red by State 3

State 3 is small family farm that grows indoor small batch craft cannabis using their organic State 3 soil system. They grow genetics selected for flavor and effects as well as bringing a line of rarely seen Sativa Landraces they call State 3 Classics to the rec market. The State 3 soil system uses organic, locally sourced, ingredients, including worm castings from We Got Worms and insect frass from Chapul Farms, which are in the same neighborhood as State 3. With just as much love and attention to detail paid to the post harvest procedures as the genetic selection and growing methods, it's clear from the flower I tried that State 3 is focused on growing high quality cannabis.

This Panama Red (Sativa Landrace), grown by State 3, had a strong fruity woody/earthy aroma that was pretty unique 🍍🪵 The buds were tightly structured but not overly dense, dark green and purple with dark orange pistils, and totally covered in trichomes. Some really beautiful looking flower all around 🤩 When I broke into the nugs I got a strong skunky smell in addition to the woody fruit 🦨

The flavor of the Panama Red was strong woody fruit with notes of skunk 🪵🍍🦨 and it was pretty smooth to vape. The vapor was nice and thick and lasted a longer than average amount of time 💨💨 but I found the flavor falling off well before the end of the bowl.

The effects were nice and uplifting with great mood elevation starting midway through my first bowl. I got a noticeable head change with some light relief for my body as well and two bowls had me good to go while leaving me pretty clearheaded 😊

Overall I definitely enjoyed this Panama Red from State 3. I'm not usually big on the Sativa Landraces but this one had some unique flavors and medicinal effects that I found myself enjoying 😊 Have you tried any of the sativa landrace varieties from the State 3 Classics line?

Grape Pie Live Rosin Sauce by Otis Gardens

This Grape Pie (Cherry Pie x Grape Stomper) live rosin sauce, grown and processed by Otis Gardens, had a pleasant earthy grape candy aroma 🌱🍇🍬 I wouldn't describe the smell as strong or loud but I wouldn't describe it as light either and the profile reminded me of grape pie I've had in the past 😋 The texture of the sauce was very nice and it was easy to work with.

The flavor translated well from the aroma, sweet earthy grape, and the sauce was reasonably smooth to dab with just some minor harshness to note. I didn't pick up any "cooked" taste that I often find in rosin sauces so that was really nice 👍🏼

The effects were strong, stoney, full body, and sedative 😴 This rosin is definitely more suited for nighttime use as the art on the packaging suggests. Dabbing the Grape Pie first thing in the morning had me wanting to go back to bed 😅

Overall I really enjoyed this Grape Pie live rosin sauce from Otis Gardens 😋 The aroma and flavor were pleasant and enjoyable, and the effects were nice and potent 🤗 This was a definitely a solid rosin sauce 👍🏼

Cultivar Review: Icicles by State 3

This Icicles (White Sherbet x Jet Fuel Gelato), grown by State 3, had a strong sweet creamy Gelato aroma with notes of Gassy OG 🍦⛽ The buds were a beautiful dark green and purple with dark orange pistils and we're totally frosted in trichomes 🤩

The flavor was stronger on the gassy side in my vape with a sharp pine note up front followed by nice creamy notes throughout 🌲⛽🍦 The vapor was very smooth and relatively thick with flavor that lasted slightly longer than average.

The effects were strong and stoney in my head with a solid headband effect after two bowls ☺️ Halfway through my third bowl I was sweating and feeling some excellent full body relaxation 🤗

Overall I really enjoyed this Icicles from State 3 😋 The nose and flavor were robust and complex, the vapor was smooth, and the effects were potent and medicinal 🤗 I definitely have to recommend checking out some flower from State 3 if you haven't already 💯

Han Solo Burger Live Rosin by Brave Hearts Private Reserve

Brave Hearts Private Reserve is an OG in the Oregon cannabis scene who has been growing since 1993 and washing hash since 1999 💪🏼 It was an honor to be a judge for the Oregon Leaf Bowl along side Brave, but it wasn't until this past weekend that I had the pleasure of connecting with him and trying some rosin made from his organically grown indoor flower. From his upbeat attitude to his clear dedication to the craft, Brave's love for the plant is obvious and infectious.

This Han Solo Burger (GMO x Larry OG) live rosin, grown and processed by Brave Hearts Private Reserve, had a superb aroma of funky garlic gas ⛽🧄⛽ The smell was loud and obnoxious with a heavy earthy OG profile 🤤 The badder itself was quite wet 💦 and had amazing texture 👌🏼

The flavor was very strong earthy OG gas with some garlic funk notes 😋 I loved the robust flavor and found the rosin to be incredibly smooth to dab 🙌🏼 This is the kind of flavor that I keep going back to again and again until it's gone 🔥🔥🔥

The effects were incredibly potent 🤯 I got a very strong stoney head change with almost instant full body relaxation 🤗 The high was exactly what I look for in my meds and I found myself reaching for the Han Solo Burger over the rest of what I had around when medicating throughout the day.

Overall I loved this Han Solo Burger live rosin from Brave Hearts Private Reserve 🥰 From the aroma, to the flavor, to the effects, it smashed all the boxes ✅✅✅ A truly craft concentrate from a true legacy grower 💯

Strawberry Mints Live Rosin by Otis Gardens

Founded in 2014, Otis Gardens is a tier 2 indoor farm located in Hood River. They use a state-of-the-art fertigation system that requires hydroponic nutrients (non-organic) along with an all organic IPM (integrated pest management) program, including predator bugs and foliar sprays. Otis Gardens pheno hunts genetics to bring new and rare varieties to market and has just recently started making in-house solventless products. I'll be reviewing two of their first runs of live rosin, starting with the Strawberry Mints 🍓🌲

This Strawberry Mints (Melon Mints x Strawberry Pie) live rosin badder, grown and processed by Otis Gardens, had a strong fruity aroma with notes of earthy pine 🍓🌱🌲 The badder had a lovely strawberry blonde color too it and excellent texture 🙌🏼

The flavor translated pretty well and was heavy fruity earth. The rosin badder was quite smooth to dab with just some very minor harshness and a minor nose tingle on the exhale.

The effects were strong and stoney in my head with a solid headband effect 😊 I also got great mood elevation and full body relaxation 🙌🏼 Excellent meds for me 🤗

Overall I really enjoyed this Strawberry Mints live rosin from Otis Gardens 😋 The aroma and flavor were strong, it was pretty smooth to dab, and the effects were potent. This was my first experience with Otis Gardens new solventless products and I have to say I was pretty impressed, especially for the price point.
