Larry Bird aka Gelato 33 by State 3

This Larry Bird aka Gelato 33 (Sunset Sherbet x Thin Mint GSC) by State 3 had a loud funky creamy aroma that was undoubtedly Gelato 🍦⛽🍦 I really enjoyed both the profile and how strong the nose was. The buds were also dense and frosty giving this flower some excellent jar appeal 🙌🏼

The flavor was strong funky cream with some pine notes up front 😋 Really robust favor that coated my mouth as I vaped it 🤤 This Larry Bird gave off incredibly thick, long lasting vapor and was very smooth 🙌🏼 The flavor also lasted all the way through the bowl, which was quite nice 👍🏼

The effects were strong, stoney, and very relaxing 😊 I got a solid head change and great full body relief 🤗 Halfway through my second bowl I was good to go and starting to sweat 🥵

Overall I loved this Larry Bird from State 3 🔥🔥🔥 The aroma and flavor were robust and complex, the vapor was smooth and thick, and the effects were potent 💯 I definitely recommend checking out this flower from State 3 if you can find it 🕵️

Acapulco Gold by State 3

This Acapulco Gold (Sativa Landrace) from State 3 had a strong piney citrus terpinolene aroma 🌲🍋 I instantly knew this was a landrace sativa from the terpinolene aroma and fluffy structure of the buds. The nugs were a medium shade of green and totally covered in long dark brown pistils.

The flavor was strong piney citrus terpinolene in my vape. The vapor was smooth and thick, but the flavor wasn't very long lasting and became pretty generic half way through the bowl.

The effects were very uplifting and clearheaded with excellent mood elevation and some nice relief for my body as well 😊 I found the high to be very medicinal while also leaving me focused and alert.

Overall while I don't personally seek out landrace sativas or terpinolene profiles, I enjoyed trying the Acapulco Gold from State 3. The aroma was strong and the effects were nice and medicinal without being too intoxicating. I was a bit disappointed with the flavor not lasting in my vape, but if you are looking for unique medicinal effects for daytime use I would say this flower is worth checking out 🕵️

Runtz by State 3

This Runtz (Gelato 33 x Zkittlez) by State 3 had a loud funky fruity creamy aroma that I instantly knew as Runtz 😋 The buds were dark green and purple with light brown pistils. The flower was totally covered in trichomes, just like the other varieties I checked out from State 3 🤩

The flavor was quite strong in my vape 😋 Piney gas up front with a creamy fruit finish 🌲⛽🍦🍑 The Runtz was very smooth to vape with thick vapor and long lasting flavor 🙌🏼

The effects we're quite potent 🤯 I got a strong stoney head change half way through my first bowl and two bowls had me sweating 🥵 which usually takes at least three. The high was very relaxing with some great full body relief 🤗

Overall I really enjoyed this Runtz from State 3 😋 The aroma and flavor were very strong and the effects were definitely potent 😊 The smooth, thick, delicious vapor was the icing on the cake and I definitely have to recommend checking out some of this flower from State 3 💯

Panama Red by State 3

State 3 is small family farm that grows indoor small batch craft cannabis using their organic State 3 soil system. They grow genetics selected for flavor and effects as well as bringing a line of rarely seen Sativa Landraces they call State 3 Classics to the rec market. The State 3 soil system uses organic, locally sourced, ingredients, including worm castings from We Got Worms and insect frass from Chapul Farms, which are in the same neighborhood as State 3. With just as much love and attention to detail paid to the post harvest procedures as the genetic selection and growing methods, it's clear from the flower I tried that State 3 is focused on growing high quality cannabis.

This Panama Red (Sativa Landrace), grown by State 3, had a strong fruity woody/earthy aroma that was pretty unique 🍍🪵 The buds were tightly structured but not overly dense, dark green and purple with dark orange pistils, and totally covered in trichomes. Some really beautiful looking flower all around 🤩 When I broke into the nugs I got a strong skunky smell in addition to the woody fruit 🦨

The flavor of the Panama Red was strong woody fruit with notes of skunk 🪵🍍🦨 and it was pretty smooth to vape. The vapor was nice and thick and lasted a longer than average amount of time 💨💨 but I found the flavor falling off well before the end of the bowl.

The effects were nice and uplifting with great mood elevation starting midway through my first bowl. I got a noticeable head change with some light relief for my body as well and two bowls had me good to go while leaving me pretty clearheaded 😊

Overall I definitely enjoyed this Panama Red from State 3. I'm not usually big on the Sativa Landraces but this one had some unique flavors and medicinal effects that I found myself enjoying 😊 Have you tried any of the sativa landrace varieties from the State 3 Classics line?

Cultivar Review: Icicles by State 3

This Icicles (White Sherbet x Jet Fuel Gelato), grown by State 3, had a strong sweet creamy Gelato aroma with notes of Gassy OG 🍦⛽ The buds were a beautiful dark green and purple with dark orange pistils and we're totally frosted in trichomes 🤩

The flavor was stronger on the gassy side in my vape with a sharp pine note up front followed by nice creamy notes throughout 🌲⛽🍦 The vapor was very smooth and relatively thick with flavor that lasted slightly longer than average.

The effects were strong and stoney in my head with a solid headband effect after two bowls ☺️ Halfway through my third bowl I was sweating and feeling some excellent full body relaxation 🤗

Overall I really enjoyed this Icicles from State 3 😋 The nose and flavor were robust and complex, the vapor was smooth, and the effects were potent and medicinal 🤗 I definitely have to recommend checking out some flower from State 3 if you haven't already 💯

Strawberries and Cream by Trichome Farms

This Trichome Farms Strawberries and Cream (Strawberry Jelly (Mimosa 4) x Cookies and Cream) had a strong fruity aroma that did actually remind me of strawberries quite a bit 🍓😋 The profile was both unique and complex but the fruit was so strong that I couldn't really pull out the other notes from smell alone. The buds themselves were dense and totally frosted in trichomes 🤩

The flavor was strong fruit 🍓🍓 with some soft creamy notes coming through in the vapor 😋 The Strawberries and Cream was very smooth to vape, especially considering the above average thickness of the vapor 👍🏼

The effects were strong, stoney and full body 🤗 I got a pleasant headband effect after two bowls in my vape and was starting to sweat a bit after three 😅 I found the high to be very relaxing and enjoyable and great meds for me in general 😊

Overall I loved this Strawberries and Cream 🍓🥛🔥🔥🔥 The aroma and flavor were excellent, the vapor was smooth and thick, and the effects were just what I'm looking for 🤗 Another winner from Trichome Farms in my book 💯🙌🏼

Mendo Breath by Trichome Farms

Trichome Farms is self-started and owner-operated with no investors, no big money and no celebrity owners. They started with just one farm facility in Dundee in 2015 and have since expanded to a second farm facility in Sherwood and will be opening their 4th retail location, located in Astoria, next month. Their current locations include Smooth Roots in Lincoln City and McMinnville, and Discovery Cannabis in Waldport.

This Trichome Farms Mendo Breath (OGKB x Mendo Montage) had a pleasant earthy citrus nose with some nice gas to it 🌱🍋⛽ It was a very savory profile with not much sweetness. The nugs were totally frosted and very dense with it's dark orange/light brown hairs fully in tact 👌🏼

The flavor was strong earthy gas in my vape 🌱⛽⛽ The flower produced very thick vapor and while the flavor didn't last as long as I'd like, it was smooth and enjoyable while it lasted.

The high was uplifting and stoney, giving me a nice solid headband effect and some good body relief without couch locking me. The effects were strong and worked well for me for daytime meds.

Overall I enjoyed this Mendo Breath from Trichome Farms. The nose was pleasant, the flavor was robust and the effects were great for medicating during the day 👍🏼

Kush Mintz by Trichome Farms

Trichome Farms jumped into the rec market back in 2015 during the early sales period and was actually one of the first farms that I purchased flower from at a dispensary in Oregon. While their grow methods have just recently switched to a mix of organics and synthetics, they were strictly organic since the start, back when it was just 4 lights in a basement, and have added in some newer synthetics in order to stay competitive in the market. Trichome farms has also just recently started an in-house genetics/breeding project, so look out for some Trichome Farms exclusives in the future.

This Trichome Farms Kush Mintz (Bubba Kush x Animal Mints) had a loud sweet and funky nose 🔊 Really nice sweet profile with strong notes of gassy funk. The buds were super dense and totally frosted with dark orange hairs and purple spots throughout 🤩 Amazing jar appeal as usual from Trichome 🙌🏼

The flavor was sharp gassy pine up front followed by sweet earthy funk ⛽🌲🍪🌱 I found the flavor to be even more complex than the smell and the Kush Mintz vaped incredibly smooth. The vapor was also very thick and long lasting 👍🏼

The effects were quite potent 🔥🔥🔥 giving me a strong stoney high with a solid headband effect and intense full body relief 🤗 The Kush Mintz couch locked me pretty hard and was very relaxing. I honestly felt like I had taken a dab after vaping just one bowl of the Kush Mintz 🤯 Amazing evening meds for me 🙏🏼

Overall I loved this Kush Mintz from Trichome Farms 😋 It was some of the most flavorful and potent flower I've had recently and I was very impressed all around.

AfPak by No Patients Left Behind

For those who don't know, the No Patients Left Behind Collective is "a group of growers, breeders, and patients who are passionate about making quality medicine accessible to those who need it." They do monthly flower drops and work with members to grow unique genetics for patients specific medicinal needs. They also work with Landrace Preservation Society to provide clones and seeds to the community.

This AfPak (Pakistani Citral Kush x Mazar-i-Sharif) bred by Landrace Preservation Society had an earthy nose with citrus notes. Pretty light smell until I broke into the buds, which were dark green with dark brown hairs and wispy.

The flavor was subtle yet pleasantly earthy in my vape. I enjoyed the flavor, but it was hard to pick out anything beside the generic earth and it generally felt lacking in flavor and complexity. The AfPak was very smooth to vape and produced thick vapor, however the flavor wasn't very long lasting.

The effects were stoney and full body, yet not particularly strong. I found myself wanting a dab after doing my reviews with this cultivar.

Overall while it was nice to try the AfPak, I found it was lacking in every area except smoothness for me. I would pass on this cultivar from No Patients Left Behind personally, but it might be a good option for those on a tight budget looking for something more affordable with a smooth smoke.

Krystal Ball by No Patients Left Behind

This Krystal Ball (Krystallica x Old Faithful) had a strong peppery citrus nose with some unique skunk notes to it. Very strong scent when I cracked the dense light green buds. The flower was covered in trichomes and light orange hairs.

The flavor was strong citrus gas in my vape 🍋⛽ It also had some sweet skunkiness to it that I really enjoyed 😋 The Krystal Ball was incredibly smooth to vape and produced thick vapor with long lasting flavor 👍🏼

The effects were very clear headed at first while also being a bit stoney, quite unique, and also provided very solid full body relief without couch locking me. I found the Krystal Ball to be a bit of a creeper, leaving me with a nice headband effect and a bit more relaxation just after my session.

Overall I enjoyed trying this cultivar from No Patients Left Behind. While it's not a profile I typically seek out, I found myself savoring the flavor in my vape 😋 The effects were also unique and worked well for me for daytime use.

Sinai by No Patients Left Behind

This Sinai (Egyptian Landrace) had a unique, sweet terpinolene nose. Decently strong but not loud. When I cracked the nug the sweet terpinolene was super pungent. The buds were dark green and quite wispy, with not much density to them at all. This flower didn't have the standard jar appeal of dense frosty buds with a loud nose. In fact, you would probably almost never find flower like this on the shelf at a dispensary.

The flavor was strong terpinolene up front that faded into a pleasant sweetness 😋 The terpinolene wasn't overwhelming at all and was actually quite nice. The vapor was decently thick with long lasting flavor. The Sinai vaped incredibly smooth 🙌🏼

The high was euphoric, clear headed, and gave me some full body relief. The Sinai didn't mess with my anxiety and I also noticed a little appetite stimulation 👍🏼 I wouldn't say that the effects were weak but I also wouldn't describe them as strong. Kinda mellow. Unique effects though and some good daytime meds for me.

Overall I found this Egyptian Landrace to be quite unique and I definitely enjoyed trying it. I wouldn't seek it out again personally, but I was certainly intrigued by the genetics 🧬

Sugar Cane Grown by Garden of Adam

This Sugar Cane (Platinum x Slurricane) grown by Garden of Adam had a pleasant earthy gas profile with some funk that reminded me of Gorilla Glue 🌱⛽🦍 It also had some light berry notes to it 🍇🫐 The nugs were dark green with purple spots throughout, and light brown hairs still perfectly in tact. They were also very dense and totally frosted, serious bag appeal 🤩 Cracking the buds brought out a nice strong smell and left my fingers sticky 👌🏼

The flavor was strong earthy gas funk in my vape 😋 I also found some distinct berry notes in there 🍇🫐 The vapor was smooth and thick with the flavor lasting an average amount of time.

The high was satisfying and full body while leaving me pretty clear headed. I felt it strongly in my forehead but it didn't give me that stoney stupefying high. Instead I felt productive, yet it wasn't stimulating or racy and didn't mess with my anxiety at all. Pretty unique effects and a really nice daytime smoke for me.

Overall I enjoyed the Sugar Cane from Garden of Adam 😋 It had a solid profile with good flavor and a smooth vape. It was also nice to find unique effects that suited me so well for daytime use. The one thing I have to critique, the nose definitely could have been a bit louder in the jar. Otherwise this was some great flower all around.
